MY BACKGROUND
I love this photo - it typified how varied each day at The Royal Opera House was!
I was the very first Costume & Footwear Technician Apprentice - over ten years ago. Not long after, I made my way into the world of millinery at Disney, creating over 150 intricately beaded headdresses for stage and screen around the world.
Looking back now, there are so many parallels between live performance as an art form and a wedding day.
There’s a lot of preparation. There’s a focus on detail. It’s about capturing that moment, creating something unforgettable, and for that evening suspending life and disbelief and letting your imagination be captured.
It was a dream working with Sophie. From the moment I stumbled across her I knew the final outcome would be more than I could have hoped for. Every step was so effortless and finished product could not have been more on brief. She really made the little girl’s dream a reality

OUR LOVE STORY
Prash and I met in November 2017 while we were both living in London. After some flirtatious messaging, we went for prosecco in St. Katharine’s Docks followed by a romantic walk across Tower Bridge.
We were worlds apart - Prash as a city boy living the corporate life, me as the village girl trying to navigate the creative world - but we instantly fell in love.
Since then, we’ve got married (twice - in both Civil and Hindu ceremonies!), moved to our dream house in rural Oxfordshire, and Prash has joined the business as our Chief Bridal Officer. We're still different in so many ways, but for us, it makes us the perfect team.
In our spare time, we can usually be found exploring villages in the neighbouring Cotswolds, soaking up the city vibes in London’s West End, or hiking across Europe!

I’m so glad I found Sophie to complete my dream veil. She was hands on and really helpful all the way through. Providing video calls, mood boards and lots of information. I received the final product in December and I cried when I opened the box & tried it on
