Yes! Since launching we’ve worked with brides from all around the world, from the US to Dubai to Australia. Around 80% of our orders are completed remotely, so rest assured you’ll experience the same seamless creative process that’s at the heart of what we offer to all our brides in bringing their veil vision to life.
The two technical elements to making your veil perfect are length and colour.
Length - Unlike a wedding dress, there are only two measurements we need to ensure the perfect proportion of your veil. The first is your height, and the second is the length of your train, which we get directly from your dress shop.
Colour - We also confirm the colour with your shop directly, as well as providing samples which can be checked against your dress.
When it comes to the design, Sophie creates accurate design sketches so you can see the overall look of your veil and make sure it matches your vision. When your veil is being made, all the elements will be pinned for your approval before being stitched, which offers you the ability to make tweaks. This could be as simple as circling a flower and saying you’d like it 2cm to the left!
With a Semi-Bespoke veil, you're limited to the materials in the Collection, but you can combine one or more designs. As an example, you can add the Isla embroidery to the Elizabeth veil or reduce the number of flowers on the Sophie. You’ll work with a member of our team to decide one or more personalisations to a Collection design, with advice on what will best complement your dress.
A Bespoke veil offers limitless possibilities on all elements of your veil.
For Bespoke Lace and Floral veils we narrow down a range of around 2,000+ options to offer you up to 10 which perfectly complement your dress.
For Bespoke Embroidered veils, each and every motifs is individually sketched, designed and then sampled.
Bespoke gives you the widest scope to make sure every element of your veil matches your vision. You’ll work personally with Sophie on creating a unique veil design, including an accurate design sketches that will be included in your quote.
Unfortunately we no don't embroider onto existing veils purchased elsewhere.
The lead times on Collection veils range from 2 to 8 weeks (please check the specific lead time in each listing). Our standard lead time on Semi-Bespoke veils is 4 to 10 weeks, and on Bespoke veils is 12 weeks.
We recommend having your veil in time for your final fitting so you can try it on with your dress - and we do our best to accommodate this.
From time to time, we are able to reduce lead times if we have capacity in allocated making time and if we have the materials readily available.
Yes! Our standard rush fees are 10% per 1 week of lead time reduction. As an example if the stated lead time is 6 weeks and you would like it in 4 weeks, this would incur a 20% rush fee. Please note, in some cases we may not be able to accommodate rush orders due to lead times on materials.
Our Collection veils range from £250 to £3,250 / $325 to $4,225 - each veil has its price shown and is available to order directly from the website. Bespoke veils start from £1,500 / $2,000.

For Semi-Bespoke orders, a minimum of 50% of the quoted amount is due upfront. The remaining balance is settled when you've received photos of your finished veil and it's ready to be dispatched.
For Bespoke orders, you will pay an initial deductible deposit of £50-150 which includes tulle samples, personalised veil research, an accurate design sketch and a tailored quote. Maximum Width
Although most Bespoke veils are 300cm in width, the maximum width is 360cm. This extra-wide tulle is only available from one supplier in the UK: a Nottingham-based factory, the same one that had also woven Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle's wedding veils. Within our Collection, the widest veil measures 300cm. This is wide enough to cover most trains and creates a beautiful puddle.
Maximum Length
For most brides a 300cm Cathedral or 350cm Royal Cathedral veil will be long enough to cover their train. However, unlike with the width, there isn't a maximum length - only the practicality in managing the veil on the day! For past brides, we have created veils up to 8 metres in length.
During her time as a costume maker at The Royal Opera House, Sophie undertook restoration work on costumes which had been used throughout the 20th century.
We offer some veil restoration, particularly for heirloom silk veils. To discuss if your veil is suitable for this service, please get in touch.
Yes - within the Bespoke process, you can incorporate sentimental elements from a loved ones dress or veil. Typically this would involve carefully removing the lace, dying to match the tulle and appliqueing it onto the veil. Our Bespoke Lace veils start at £1,500 / $2,000.
